Tenderfood

Encouraging self-reliance is one of our primary goals, and what better way to do that than through food?  Tenderfood is a monthly get-together when we make and eat something from scratch, then send home extras with our chefs so they can share the deliciousness (and our story!) with friends.  We’re very open to menu suggestions, so if there’s something you want to learn to make from scratch, let us know!  Thus far, we’ve stuck to things that we can make in the shape of feet or decorate with feet, but that’s not a hard rule.  Below are the tentative plans for the upcoming months.  Unless otherwise noted, we’ll be at the Union Avenue United Methodist Church in Alliance, OH from 4 to 7 pm.

March 15, 2018:  Gnocchi w/ Marinara & Garlic Cream Sauces
April 13, 2018:  Menu TBD.  Send us your suggestions!  
May 5, 2018:  Cinco de Mayo Send-off Party.  
Our final goodbye before we leave for the Appalachian Trail.  UMU Senior Capstone students are busily planning this, so check back for details!
