We thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail – all 2,191 miles of it – as a fundraiser to raise both awareness and startup funding for Tenderfoot. We raised nearly $8,000! Half of these funds helped us purchase property to serve as Tenderfoot’s permanent home, and half went toward scholarships for Ohio Appalachian students in the early stages of their college careers.
